…not unnecessarily prolonged. I want to be there for my wife and children, my firm and clients, and my community, in that order, but I do not cling to life. I expect a glorious life to come and at some point I will have lived long enough. So when it is likely that I will die of what I have anyway, it’s ok to let me go sooner rather than later.
